This movie was enjoyable. It would have been better than most low budget horror movies if it wasn't for the music.
The acting generally was pretty good. Most of the people were believable, except 1. There was one actress that might as well have been reading off of a cue card. Luckily for the movie she was only in a few scenes.
Nothing real original about the plot, except for the ending which I didn't see coming.
I enjoyed this movie and would watch it again. I would own it if it wasn't for the music. Normally in a movie music is used to set scenes and help build emotion. In this movie it was used to drown out the dialog and make you want to mute it.

Plot summary
A dive into the deep waters of classic horror films updated with novel, unanticipated plot twists. The film blends legendary horror actors (Jewel Shepard, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD and R.A. Mihailoff, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE III) with fresh faces on the film scene (Ben Kaplan, Morgan Carter, and Rebecca Crowley). Hazards of modern technology lead the characters into a dark, remote, isolated backwoods far away from the trappings and safety of suburbia or city life. There they encounter a family like no other.

Redneck do redneck things
After warnings have been issued about an on-line dating serial killer, Jack Roper (Ben Kaplan) and Kristy Smith (Morgan Carter) hook up and go off to a cabin in the woods. They rent the cabin from "Momma" (Jewel Shepard) a personable landlord who gives new meaning to the word "spooning." The film then struggles through the inevitable slasher/cabin film to get to the cute ending, which for many may not be worth the wait and watch.

They don't get much worse than this POS. Seems there's a serial killer on the loose somewhere around St. Louis. He advertises on social media to find his prey. Cut to a scene of a couple meeting for the first time, and they decide to get back to nature for a weekend. Yawn.
The acting (or lack thereof) in this movie has to be seen to be believed; it's THAT bad. The "plot" reminds me more a "let's pretend like" game you played when you were small children. Nothing makes sense, and if that isn't bad enough, you have to listen to these people talk.
Awful as all get-out; however, I did learn all sorts of new things to do with a silver spoon....
