Hands down the worst movie I've seen in 2018. It honestly fails on every front . Dialogue, acting, mystery , jokes , pacing and plot are completely terrible and fall flat in almost every moment ... well , except for when Paul Sheer goes way over board on the line that heads this review . But that took an hour and 19 minutes to get to. Things as simple as plot twists and the "who done its" are literally shown to you multiple times before there reveals making the entire thing pointless. The main joke of the entire thing is never funny and has been done better in low budget indie films from the early 2000s . I haven't turned off a movie in some time , but this one almost got me there. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 1 is its quality lighting and camera work. Theres nothing more odd or upsetting than a terrible movie that looks good . It's like a trick on the senses. Pass on this and save yourself the boredom .

"GET OUT OF HERE YOU WITCH!"
The Werewolf of Kingfisher
Kingfisher (Joliet, Ill.) is a small city or big town where everyone drives a vintage car. (What was that all about?) It has a history of ghosts, demons, witches, and werewolves. 40,000 people died in the Halcyon Asylum and the city moved their ghosts across the river to Ghost Town. A pizza parlor now stands on that site.
Pizza delivery people are dying. The police suspect the Yummy Yummy Werewolf (Chance the Rapper). The ghosts in the film look like regular people with white face. They talk and interact with the living as normal. One works at the Pizza Parlor.
The picture was bad but fun. It normalized the supernatural although not quite as good as "Dylan Dog".
Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
This was mediocre...
When I sat down to watch the 2018 movie "Slice" by director and writer Austin Vesely I must admit that I had absolutely no idea what to expect. So I entered the movie with a blank slate, so to speak.
Did "Slice" manage to fill the slate with a memorable and enjoyable movie experience? Hardly so. This movie was, at best, mediocre.
It felt like the movie wanted to accomplish more than it managed to deliver, at the hands of writer and director Austin Vesely. As such, then the movie was being dragged down by an ambition set way too high.
The acting in the movie was adequate, taking into consideration the type of movie that this is. But at times it felt like even the actors were not really buying into the script and storyline.
Writer and director Austin Vesely attempts to build a colorful and vivid world, wherein humans live side by side with the likes of ghosts, witches and werewolves. While the idea is indeed interesting in itself, it wasn't really portrayed all that well on the screen. Especially since the ghost had such horrible make-up applied to them that even a blind man would have a hard time buying into.
"Slice" is the type of movie that you watch once, if you manage to get through it entirely that first time, and then never to watch it again. The movie just doesn't have much of any appeal, much less anything to provide a foundation for a second viewing.
