Kids in a small town organizes a snow ball war. It's a Canadian animated kid's film. I like some of the designs but the animation is more rudimentary. It's second tier computer animation which fits more for TV. There is some fun drawn animation. The story is somewhat simple. It started to lose its narrative drive and then it introduces an important idea. It could have gotten there a little faster. This is fine.
Plot summary
To amuse themselves during the winter school break, the kids in a small village decide to have a massive snowball fight. Luke and Sophie, both 11 years old, become the leaders of the opposing sides. Sophie and her cohort defend an elaborate snow fort against the assault of Luke's horde. Whichever side occupies the fort at the end of the winter break, wins.

Awesome movie, Can't understand why so many haters.
Why are people being so negative about this awesome movie? Half the comments say it's not for kids and it's not good and their kids are crying, well it isn't for the kids that's why it's Certified as "PG" which means "Parental Guidance". You need to watch the movie before you let your kids watch it, This is an amazing movie that showed the essence of the war and it's after effects. Didn't you read that in the introduction when the movie starts? It really is a beautiful movie, stop being so negative, someone even commented saying that "The movie was great at the starting but the ending was horrible" well I got a Question for you, was there a war that ended well with happiness and without killing anybody? No, right? This movie just said that dude, just open your eyes and read the introduction, don't watch just for the sake of it.
Innocence of youth
Mom and I watched this movie last night. Cute film.
When I first read the synopsis I was surprised and pleased to note that this was a reboot of La Guerre des Tuques (the Dog Who Stopped the War),which we had been made to watch back in my elementary school days as part of our obligatory French Immersion process by the QC government, and despite that, had still enjoyed.
This reboot is just as good, if not better, when it comes to ensuring all-ages enjoyment.
