This feature film is based on the true story of a six-year-old boy, Russia's youngest hero of World War II. Seryozha Aleshkov lost his family, was rescued by an army regiment, and engaged in battles. The little soldier was awarded the Military Merit Medal. Tragedy and love, danger and hope, the bitterness of separation and the joy of belonging, are all intertwined in this wartime drama.

This movie is really great and there are moments in the movie when it's sad,and you can crie and there are moments where that little sweet boy who's acting is really great can make you laugh. I belive Andrey Andreev will be realy famous and great actor he have talent. I don't write reviews about movies on IMDB, but this movie really deserves a higher rating than 6,5 stars but I gave 10 stars because movie was really great and its really for this grade.
