I saw this wonderful German documentary at a film festival in Munich and was - as the whole audience - immediately drawn into the peaceful atmosphere of an idyllic village outside of Berlin, where the therapist Claudia and her horses help soldiers to cope with their traumatic experiences. The filmmakers succeeded in capturing the invisible - the painful memories, the incredible ability of horses to mirror a human being's inner feelings and struggles, as well as the psychological process of healing and finding a new purpose in life. The camera is always close to the protagonists and horses, but still manages not to interfere with the many intimate moments of the therapy sessions. The result is a very authentic and emotional film with a lasting impact on the viewer.
