We watched Team Marco as a way to kick off the holidays. What a Beautiful reminder about the importance of family and tradition. Technology has made such strides that we have isolated ourselves from what matters most. These past 8 months have made us hungry for more connection, more hugs, more laughs, more tears together. Those are the gifts that Team Marco generously gives to the audience. The story was sweet, the characters believable, the home movies tender. Marco, 12, is obsessed with his iPad and hardly leaves the house. But when his grandmother dies and his grandfather moves in, Marco's life is turned upside-down and he's forced...to go play outside. "Nonno" (Grandpa) introduces him to bocce ball and to the neighborhood crew of old Italian men who play daily at the local court. With sport, laughter and love, Marco finds connection to other people and rounds up a team of neighborhood kids to take on Marco's grandfather and his pals.

Nice & Light Hearted Movie, But...
Enjoyed the movie which made for a few laughs and some family entertainment but, but, that kid Marco has the most irritating whine ever, that got on my nerves.
