The Beast And The Beauty is a great romantic and cute movie. It is a story of a man discovers that his girlfriend, who is blind, is about to recover her sight through an operation. However, he has lied to her about his appearance, and he is too scared to face her in person.

It provides the viewer some thoughts about love. Its theme that there is more to love than just one's appearance will appeal to everyone and not only those who want to watch a typical romantic comedy.

The acting was great. Shin Mina proved that she is a great actress. Her co-stars Ryu Seung-Beom and Kim Gang-Wu were excellent as well. It is one of the best movies in Korean cinema. No need to explain more about it.

Watch it and have a great viewing experience. Highly recommended!!!!

The Beast and the Beauty is as of now my 2nd favorite romantic comedy; My Sassy Girl being my number 1. It is definitely underrated having a 6.6, it deserves at LEAST a 7.5, but everyone has their own taste.

This movie has a VERY good mixture of romance and comedy. It is hilarious and provides the viewer with many funny scenes. It is funnier than most other comedies I have seen.

Ryu Seung-beom and Shin Min-a make an excellent duo for this movie. Ryu Seung-boem, or Dong-gun(the role he plays) plays a very comedic role and does an excellent job. Shin Min-a, Hae-joo(role she plays),does an awesome job in portraying her character as well. Not to mention Shin Min-a is one of the cutest actors I have ever seen.

This was a kind of movie that leaves you ending up with a sorta goofy dumbstruck grin at the end. Its like a lot of other Korean romance dramas, with an old tale of ugly meets beautiful.

The story follows Dong-gun who is the world to a blind girl Hae-joo. He shows her amazing things, takes her to all of these places and loves her very much. What she doesn't see is that Dong-gun isn't the most attractive of men. This is where things take a twist. Hae-joo is about to get her sight back and now Dong-gun is faced with the dilemma of what her reaction is going to be. Instead of facing up to it he plays off like he's Dong-guns secretary and Dong-gun has taken a 2 week trip to Hawaii. To toss things up more, Hae-joo runs into Jun-Ha, and handsome old buddy of Dong-gun's who has the looks shes dreamed of but a completely opposite personality. Now Dong-gun is forced to deal with him, and a gang leader out to get Jun-Ha for arresting his gang! The movie was quite bittersweet and cute for the most part. Like a few other dramas, there's some really low points, but ultimately it a very cute story with interesting characters. The music is also very nice for all of the parts, especially when Jun-Ha sings! A good date movie or one for a bit more laughter than other dramas and a very cute girl as the lead role.
