I wouldn't even call this a movie. More like a feature length first year student project edited on a phone. I can only assume this was a tax loss or else funded by a church or other agenda. Always suspicious when a film has reviews taring it 1/10 and also 10/10 almost like the film isn't the thing being reviewed; but the message? The dialogue, the acting and the cinematography are beyond awful. The story incomprehensible.

Plot summary
Avery's life sucks. With the passing of her brother Aiden, bullies at school, parents arguing, teacher on her case, lack of good friends, only her best friend Amy, Roberto, and escaping reality seems to help ease the pain. Until she learns about a box in the basement she's not supposed to know about; and a cube within that box that has the power to transport her to her own future. And when through a vision she sees her future, it looks AMAZING. So what would stop her from going to it? But Avery must make the right choice, and she's not sure if that's the best choice to make? Some choices are not easy choices, and Avery will need to make the right one - not only for herself, but for all the people in her life she knows and cares about. A sci-fi film dealing with life-impacting, relevant topics such as bullying, teen suicide, honesty, making choices, parent and teen relationships, teen responsibility and more. Sooooo bad.
I'll go ahead and spoil this.
I found this film to be completely uninspiring. Very slow and not really much happening anywhere. The first half is mostly foreshadowing and a girl being sad about what happens before the movie even starts. Granted she has every reason to be sad as her parents are as well. It's not hard to tell what happened or why she is sad once you start watching.
Suddenly her parents go away for a weekend, during which she talks to a waiter at a restaurant and is instantly happy. Her parents return and are happy as well like the tragic event before the movie never happened. Then as if by magic she is no longer bullied and everyone is getting along great.
Spoiler! There is no box. There is most certainly a basement with what looks like a tesseract where she is magically transported somewhere, possibly an alternate universe, and she come face to face, in a sense, with another version of herself who tranforms into the main antagonist. The scene really doesn't make much sense but most the movie does not.
Unspoilerable.
It's like a group of high schoolers watched Neil Breen's 5 Feature Film Retrospective, and were inspired to make a movie of their own. Awesome! Wasn't "Twisted Pair" fun too?
