A fun if somewhat flawed genre effort

Arriving to partake in babysitting duties, a teenager staying the night at a couple's lavish mansion to look after their innocent daughter, but when the fun and food end the night turns deadly when a sinister secret emerges between them that places her life in jeopardy and must escape her nanny.

This turned out to be a rather fun genre effort. Among the better aspects here is the incredibly enjoyable setup that provides an innocent enough starting point for the genre's activities to follow. The various interactions with her friends before arriving at the house and going through the ordeals of the night give this a standardized setup with her being the kind of loose and carefree figure that most would want in a teenage babysitter. How she handles the daughter and enables all the various shortcuts that her parents forbid her from doing starts this off rather well by making her seem like that ideal kind of fun-loving rulebreaker that's ideal for nannies and babysitters. That sets the film up rather nicely once it turns into her more devious and Satanic individual ready to sacrifice her for her ritual. The turn into the ceremonial rituals with the poisoning of the food, the arrival of her friend, and then starting all the preparations for the ritual offers a solid turn here and gives this a great touch. The mixture of serious and goofy at play here with the seduction attempts and their intentions being to kill her and the delivery guy that shows up mesh nicely alongside the clumsiness of the execution here with the sarcastic interactions and mistaking targets that goes on. The way this all gets resolved in a series of fun and gruesome confrontations with some fine stalking throughout the house has a lot to like and manages to make this a fun enough effort. There are some minor issues to be had here. One of the biggest drawbacks is a rather underwhelming finale that tends to rush through a slew of rather impressive concepts but due to the rapidly-accomplished nature of the scenes. Most of the action here involves how the turn occurs and sets up a series of revelations that take place in the final half that's way too many dropped at once for them to have any kind of effect. There should've been more time devoted to the twists at play here or eliminated some since they come off at a point that makes this too complicated for its own good. As well, there are several instances of the girls' not being as in control as they think they are and ruining the experience at several points as the film continues on only through plot contrivance that ends up holding this down slightly.

Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.

We like to film ourselves

Bianka (Ana Garberí) has a gig babysitting the 13-year old girl (Vivian Milkova) daughter of a plastic surgeon. They have a great time watching horror movies and eating junk food. We discover (wasn't much of a secret) that Bianka is a lesbian looking to sacrifice a virgin with her girlfriend (Ailín Pazos) so they can film it and submit to the dark web and become members of a satanic cult following Lucifera (María Forqué). Things don't go as planned.

The film was more comedy than horror. The soundtrack guy must of had a ball with overdone mood music. It set the proper mood. Not overly funny, but a fun film that would do as a Redbox Rental.

Guide: Plenty of F-words. No sex or nudity.

Looked promising but can't get past the fake accents

Everything seemed to be going well for this movie in the first 10 minutes and I really wanted to give it a chance. Attractive actors, good sound and editing, interesting story line developing. But I couldn't get past the horrendously horrible fake English accents. None of the actors could deliver their lines convincingly in English. It became painfully obvious that this movie should not have been in English. Too bad.
