This movie actually doesn't make sense to some extend. I like the concept, acting but if I gonna look for logics, it doesn't have. How can a paralysed person can do this all his own? He murdered two people still no one has any clue. No one is looking for them?
And the person who helped to dispose the old man's body who is he?? The movie even didn't clarify that. I thought, at least it would have a decent ending! But,what is this? Why his girlfriend is taking him in?
Why the police isn't arresting anyone? Angel kept captivate her for so long, also killed her lover, her unborn baby's father, still she didn't said anything to police. On the other hand Angel fall from such a height, yet no one questioned her how he did fall?
For the first time, I wanted if the movie was bit longer, I would have gotten my answers, it could be ended brilliantly. It has a pretty good start, splendid concept . But, didn't think it would end this way.

What's wrong the ending?
Too much filler, not enough substance.
At a normally comfortable 94 minutes, this one felt much longer. I can't put my finger on any one reason, because the pacing was ok, which usually is the issue.
There's a lot going on, almost too much that I feel is unnecessary, and there just isn't enough suspense until the last quarter of the film. The tittle, The Paramedic, really doesn't suit the story, and even being one in this film was really just filler. I'd rather some emerg doctor cross the street, get hit by a car, and then get the ball rolling with the main acts.
The casting and performances were quite good, and the directing was decent, but this thriller needed more thrills. It's a good one-time watch if you've nothing else to watch.
Victimised
If like Mario Casas you have been in some exceptional movies, some may feel this being way inferior than it actually is, because of all the other stuff they've seen him in. So he is kind of a victim of his own good work (chosen work that is I guess). But is he also a victim in the movie? You'll have to watch the movie to see that for yourself.
One thing is for sure: it is not an easy movie to watch. A lot of despicable things happening, a lot of straining and draining things. A lot of mentally disturbed things being done (even to a dog, which you kind of guess way before it happens). Are you able to go through with it? It won't be easy and it will take a lot from you, if you try to invest in the characters portrayed. One thing this does as many other movies have done before, is try to make you sympathetic to a degree with the pulprit ... I've seen enough of those to fight that. Then again, the evil character here makes it easy to not root for him ...
