Was not scary. Was not creepy. Terrible dialogue. By the time the ridiculous ending happened, I didn't care about any of these characters. I think the location of this little house in the woods was a good choice for a horror movie, but not this one.

I've seen better community college student films. Wooden acting, poor writing, inexplicable videoing by the protagonist: all the plot-pitfalls one would expect by a group of filmmakers who have no idea what they're doing.

I think the presence of more well-known actors ruins the immersion of a found-footage style movie. It had me absorbed... then Eric Roberts shows up and ruins the suspension of disbelief. Took me right out of the narrative. After that, it got better and I was able to get back into it, but would have been better without that 'cameo.'
