If youre in for the unknown spectre of filmaking, ''the room '' is a good way to start. its science fition horror at its near best, its human agony and pain an masse', the acting are supreme, and the story works even till the end, and if there will be made a sequel it will be hard to follow up this one.

some may feel abit confusion in the end, but thats the point i guess, its a film that may blast way for new thoughts, and youll really get a tale from the unexpected. the filmography, the special effects, the sound work and score really hits the bulls eye. many film in this genre rails out to infinity, with hopeless endings and terrible plot excecution, but the room are the great exception.

the grumpy old man recommends, and if you do ,wait til its dark outside, so that you can feel the eriness at best.

Get a room you two - it's something people say to a pair of people who show how affectionate their love for each other is. Said about this movie, it is a totally different story for sure. Now it is a predictable one and it takes its sweet time to get rolling. But once it does there are all the things in it that you'd expect and love to see from a movie with a central idea like that.

The main characters make a really good pair and their energy keeps the movie going, even at times when you feel it almost comes to a stop. Twists and turns also help, though not all make the most sense. But if you put that aside and suspend your disbelief, you're in for an exciting ride

I'm a belgian but I'm not going to be biased reviewing this movie. I didn't even heard about The Room before, just saw the names of the actors and they sounded very belgian to me so that's how I discovered it was a belgian production. The most positive thing about The Room was it's originality. In my case it was the first time I watched a movie with this subject. Nowadays it's just difficult to come up with an original story as it looks as everything has been done before. So credits for that! The story is captivating though, fresh and with the right amount of suspense. The acting wasn't bad at all either. Overall The Room is an entertaining movie worth a watch. I don't really get the negative reviews for this one. What were those people expecting?
