The Singer is an emotional journey filled with music and stories. The costume design was beautiful; the characters are likeable; you might cry like I did.
Kim Dongwan's character was my favorite for reasons you'll see :)
I feel like the film is a good introduction to pansori and traditional Korean culture.

The singing is a real highlight. Loved it all.
I cried so much.
This movie made me an emotional wreck. There were scenes where I was laughing so much and next thing you know, I was crying a waterfall.
Before even watching "The Singer" I was well acquainted with Pansori singing and find it very beautiful.
You can feel great emotions in the style of singing which contributed to the movie enormously. The actors did an fantastic job!
