This documentary follows 5 (I believe) students that decided to travel to different countries that rank higher educationally than the US. You get to learn about education systems in Finland, South Korea, Switzerland, and more. However, I do feel like one of the student's journeys was underedited.

Sadie is a student that decides to travel to Finland for a semester of school. I was super interested in Finland's education practices because they take more of a professional and career-related outlook than the US. However, I don't recall learning as much about Sadie's journey than Brittany, a student who traveled to South Korea, or Jaxon, a student who traveled to Switzerland. I do think this documentary would be stronger with 10-15 more minutes focusing on Sadie's journey.

I recommend this documentary to people who have an interest in foreign education and how different countries interpret their view on education. This documentary is fun, educational, and extremely interesting. I give "The Smartest Kids In The World" a solid 7/10.
