The narrative tries to give a murderer, who butchered a woman's vagina with pliers, raped her, hit her with a hammer to hear her scream for hours, and put an ice pick through her ear, dignity and friendship.

They don't even play a couple of seconds of the infamous torture tape that the killer recorded. The main interviewer, Laura, is sitting there being proud of her friendship with the man that tortured 5 young girls to death.
