Not great, actually a bit all over the place I watched this because I saw Sam Huntington & Meaghan Rath's names attached and I really liked both of them in the series Being Human. They do a good job here too but other than that its a pretty weak romantic comedy with a flimsy plot and some questionable goings on.
Sam and Meghan play a married couple hoping to kickstart their romance on a weekend getaway. They leave the city (of Montreal) and drive to a ski lodge, having awkward car sex along the way. Once at the lodge things get even more awkward as 'Carl' discovers his sexy ex-girlfriend is now running the place. Because this is a romantic comedy Carl tries to keep his previous relationship a secret from his wife while his ex finds ways to tempt him. Eventually he phones for back up and his best friend from work and her husband turn up to add to the chaos. An unsatisfactory (dark) ending for me here too

Plot summary
Carl's life is stalled. He has worked at the same job at a Montréal video game design company for five years with his bosses not yet having decided who will get the next promotion. He and Sue, his wife of several years, are also facing problems in their marriage, including sexually. To reinvigorate their marriage, he has arranged a weekend ski getaway for them at Ste. Adele in the Laurentians, staying at Auberge au Coeur Sauvage, a small bed and breakfast ski lodge. He has a grand gesture planned, he choosing this specific locale as it has special romantic memories for him, however those memories are with another woman. When they arrive, Carl finds that the person with who he has been emailing regarding the reservation and the current owner is Robyn, who he introduces to Sue as a former coworker - which is true - but who he eventually divulges is an ex. Carl has never told Sue about Robyn, the woman with who he has special memories at this locale and who he may consider, deep in his heart, as the love of his life, the one that got away. What happens in Carl and Sue's relationship this weekend is not only affected by Robyn, but by others at the lodge: Anatolli, a Québecois actor with some fame in France, and his mother, Lise, who have a codependent but dysfunctional relationship themselves; Stacey and her unusual husband Doug, she Carl's coworker and friend who he called in a panic for advice; and someone in Robyn's not so past.

Meaghan Rath and Sam Huntington try
I don't like Carl
Married couple Carl (Sam Huntington) and Sue (Meaghan Rath) is having an awkward sex ski weekend. He is shocked to find his ex Robyn (Emmanuelle Chriqui) running the ski lodge. She had left her life and bought the place. Carl reveals to Sue that he had dated Robyn. In desperation, he calls his friend Stacey (Reagan Pasternak) who drives up with her boyfriend.
It's a passable dysfunctional rom-com comedy indie up to a certain point. When Carl goes off the deep end, the reason to care goes out the window. He's acting like an idiot and I stop caring about him. The comedy is a bit flimsy up to that point. After that point, it's problematic with its unwelcome destination. The dysfunction is no longer fun and I don't feel the love. The long and short of it is that I don't like Carl.
Not worth the effort.
Carl and Sue get ready for a weekend at a ski lodge. Carl plans to get Sue a new ring, and for them to renew their vows. When they arrive, they find that Carl's ex Robyn, who now calls herself Ryan, has bought the place and is running it. Carl also hoped that during this weekend, he and Sue might iron out some turbulence in their relationship. On top of that, Carl slips out now and then to telephone Stacey, his best friend and co-worker. Stacey tries to help Carl as best she can, but has her husband Doug to contend with at the same time.
Worlds collide!
The rest of the film is about the consequences of the collision.
If you hate women, you might like this film. If you hate men, you might like this film. Both men and women are portrayed as being beneath worthless. If you despise romance, you might like this film. If you hate laughing, you might like this film. There was no romance, but only callousness and cynicism. I did not laugh while watching this movie.
Since I do not fit into any of those categories, the picture had little appeal to me.
