This is by far my favorite Tinkerbell movie. Like the other reviews have stated, Fawn is the main character, but this makes no difference. The storyline is strong, the characters are fun, and the movie all over heartwarming. Make sure you have a box of tissue, this is a tearjerker. Of course like all Disney movies, we have a happy ending, but I enjoyed this as a strong finish to a delightful series. As far as storyline strengths, I would compare this to the great fairy rescue. Both story lines have a strong appeal that can be entertaining for even adults. Although these are geared for children, anyone can enjoy them. If you are a Tinkerbell fan and love the series, this does not disappoint. I would love a neverbeast of my own. I actually liked the change that it wasn't completely focused on Tinkerbell. It's fun to see the dynamic of the other characters as well. Until now, we really have not had a strong idea of who Fawn was. Good job Disney!

This "Tink" film centers around Fawn. The message is to learn to think with your head and not your heart. Fawn loves animals and in the beginning rescues a fairy eating baby hawk. Later we see Hawks chasing fairies with the intent of eating them. This scene may be too intense for some kids, you know the ones who can't get past the opening of Nemo. (I personally know 2 of them.) Later in the film the Neverbeast is introduced, again initially in a scary manner, but Dawn pulls the thorn out of its paw and they become friends as the ending once again gets dark with lightning etc. The ending is (real plot spoiler) similar to something what we would expect out of the "Fifth Element." Dawn dies, but only for a moment as she is revived.

This is clearly one of the more "darker" Tinker Bell films. The series had been made safe for those who scare easily. I will be testing this one out in the next week.

While I initially considered the Tinker Bell films to be for girls, it is interesting to note that the male directors do a better job with these films than the female directors. In this installment it is Fawn's turn to steal the show. For the first time since the first film, Clank Bobble, and Fairy Mary does not feature in this film.

The film is not so much about Tinker Bell anymore, as she (again) takes a back seat in this adventure. This is a truly great installment with action, adventure, and suspense. This is the darkest entry in the series yet, and refreshing, actually, although it might give young kids nightmares. I also found this film's humor funny rather than silly, and none of the animation or events cartoonish. I also really enjoyed the new character, Nyx, who is probably the strongest character of any Tinker Bell movie yet.

The film was cute and sweet, as well, and has a beautiful ending. I loved it!
