Watched with my 9 yo son and we couldn't get over how awful this was. Acting, dialogue, costumes, you name it, everything was terrible. At least we enjoyed poking fun at how bad it was.

The dancing and hot sauce drinking were so over the top - can't believe this is a real movie.

Another ruined remake. The original was a classic, back when they made decent movies. This version is just another horribly acted bad remake on the Disney line up. Just come up with new ideas and stop ruining what you did in the past. Very disappointed you can't seem to find the 1997 movie anywhere. Would watch that all October!

Some of the things they did with the story were good, but this just misses out on the snappy dialogue and fun sight gags of the original. I think overall this just feels too safe, Disney isn't really trying anything new or pushing any boundaries.
