The first two matches, Drew McIntyre vs. Goldberg and Sasha Banks vs. Carmella, are quick and predictable, but fine for what they are (appetizers). The women's rumble is typically entertaining (Billie Kay is hilarious),if very predictable in its winner and hardly memorable. Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens Last Man Standing is....again....utterly predictable but it does offer some "Whoa!" and "Holy S..t" moments. The men's rumble bucks the trend of the night with a winner who personally (having read no spoilers beforehand whatsoever) left me with my mouth hanging open: I was certain they were going for the "sentimental favorite" (Daniel Bryan) angle, but even when there were only four superstars left in the match, I still didn't believe it could be him . Overall a good show....though with a nearly 4-hour running time you may have to break it down to two separate sittings.

Entertaining if thorougly predictable....until the genuinely shocking ending
the super real pandemic made me watch this
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair = I never cared for the "women's" division
Sasha Banks (c) defeated Carmella (with Reginald) by submission = I still don't care for the women division
Bianca Belair won by last eliminating Rhea Ripley = They should replace the female rumble and make it a tag team rumble to headline Wrasslemania. no one cares for the "women" division.
Drew McIntyre (c) defeated Goldberg = a not bad match. I thought it would have been bad, but Goldy shows that he can still go out and spar with the young bucks like he's back in dubya c dubya
Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) defeated Kevin Owens = A decent match. Double R is improving.
Edge won by last eliminating Randy Orton = Edge is alright. Was never a huge fan, but I don't hate the guy. At 47 year old starting at #1 after career ending injuries and winning it, is soooo farfetched. It was an ok Rumble it being my first live one to actually watch.
Overall: a decent rumble for a mediocre product. I felt I wasted time and valuable energy watching this mediocre at best product.
Royal Rumble
Not a bad show, but I don't know why we needed Goldberg here. It was embarrassing to see him challenge for a title.
