"The level of artistry" is such a common and very cliche way to start off any review.
But this film has a very unique vision and the imagery is beautiful in its desolation and dismay.
The music fits absolutely perfectly and refreshes us with a breath of the 80's synth that reminds one of the movies we all watched as kids that lead us to riding our bikes like wildlings while pretending we were Mel Gibson in Mad Max.
Aaron Jude's portrayal of his character reminds one of that intensity found in another great and disputed film, Easy Rider.
This is a fantastic beginning for this crew and I look forward to seeing what further comes of their creativity.
Conkin's directorial debut shines with an obvious and very apparent understanding of piecing together a story that is not only interesting but visually appealing.
The film presents itself like a painting and plays out like a fantastically murky nightmare that leaves you wondering in the morning what your brain just witnessed.
His acting is additionally spot on with appropriate intensity and matches that of Jude's sincere emotional performance.
I had heard of this film through a colleague and am thoroughly interested in watching the careers of both the cast and this director take flight.
Bravo. I highly suggest this.

Excellent Visuals and Unique Story
A great B rated movie!
I actually like this movie. I consider this a B rated movie, the concept is interesting. I really liked the special effect that was used for the zone line. The acting was good. I reccomend to those who love watching B rated movies like me.
Unpleasant
How can a film take itself so seriously when they have no budget or talent to work with? Understand your limitations and work within them. This movie fails because it tries to be something it could never be. Dump the pretentious voice overs, the artsy filters, the jump cuts, the tell-not-show, and the rest of the distracting garbage and just present a straightforward story with a character or two the audience cares about.
Alas, no. Some of the combat scenes could have been decent, but clearly little effort was put into them. The narration was unnecessary and tedious, all tell and no show (hey director, in case you hadn't noticed it's a motion picture!) adding nothing to the story. Speaking of story, what was it? Creep deserts the army, goes rogue, and kills a bunch of random people. Is he a good guy, a bad guy. Who cares. The acting is so poor the audience has nothing to root for.
Two stars for the action scenes.
