I love my stand up and often find that regardless of the usual bad language and questionable topics I often find a deeper viewpoint and perspective on the World we live in and a good stand up not only makes me laugh but they make me think. So, with a Christian upbringing I was interested to see how this would work. I lasted less than 5 minutes. Right from the start there was no personal hello or the usual Thank Yous, no interaction with the crowd at all... then the obvious canned laughter started on loop. The initial jokes had no build up and were as simple and generic as they come and that was as far as I got. Even the fact that the first guy looks like Herman Munster high on Nitrous oxide was more cringe worthy than funny. Maybe it gets better, but I doubt it could get worse.
