I should of had your back

Haylee (Katie Leclerc) is a paramedic who has issues after a losing a person. She is back at work after a short hiatus. She gets involved helping a user and later she is coaxed by a drag queen disowned by her family with stage 4 cancer to help her in an assisted suicide. Word gets out on the street and Haylee is called on to use nembutal in more cases. She gets involved too heavily with the drug world.

The film seemed disjointed as if put together by loosely connected scenes. I didn't develop empathy for Haylee who knew better.

Guide: F-word. Brief nudity (Alice Tate)

Good Story, Poorly Executed

This is a good story. Nice to see they're exploring the life of an EMT with PTSD especially. Other than that, half of the scenes are too dark for me to see anything. The story is nothing special, but I think there aren't enough movies like this, and it took a good risk. I will not spoil the movie. I think it's worth a watch. The female lead with PTSD did a wonderful job.

This Is Pretty Much DOA

This started out with promise but slowly fell into a rut of ridiculous decisions and unlikely scenarios. Our PTSD paramedic becomes an "angel of mercy" and loses her common sense. There are simply better things to watch.
