Is there an extended warranty for getting my time back?

No wonder that George Newbern and Leslie Hope never became household names in spite of lengthy careers and a lot of credits. I've never heard of a majority of the TV shows or movies that either did, and I certainly never heard of this bad 80's comedy that has more bad taste then all of the stuff in Newbern's stomach and his rather disgusting nightmare over his impending marriage to Hope. Neither of them are really a prize, with Newbern more interested in buying an expensive Lamborghini than making sure that he's at the wedding rehearsal on time. She's a control freak, determined to have him wrapped around her pinky in spite of advice from his devoted relative Patrika Darbo (the best thing about the film) who has a more realistic equal view of what marriage should be.

It's not a surprise that while he's away, he hooks up with shady Dallas car salesman Kimberly Foster (the year before she joined "Dallas") who sold him a lemon. Newbern go through a bunch of wacky adventures, a few very funny but most of them absurd and a few rather gross. Anthony Geary is completely wasted in a wacky supporting role as a car mechanic, so it's no wonder that he packed up his movie star ambitions and headed back to Port Charles.

The Dallas locations are fun (which includes a few chase sequences),but the film as a whole makes little sense, and Newbern and Hope have little spark. Foster, who resembles a Sharon Stone type femme fatale, isn't exactly someone to root for either. I wouldn't call this a complete disaster, especially since the self-centered Hope appears to be getting what she deserves.

Entertaining Movie

I saw this about 10 years ago ... but really like it. Here's what I remember of the movie:

A young man travels a long distance to buy an expensive sports car a few days before his wedding. His new car has problems and he is stranded. He trys to get the car fixed but finds out because he didn't buy an "extended warranty" there is no warranty on the car and he has bought a worthless lemon.

He sets out to get even with the dealership. Along the way he meets a beautiful woman. He tries to buy a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne because she tells him it makes her wild. He gets robbed at the liquor store when trying to buy the champagne. The crooks also steal his champagne. Movie is very funny, strange, and entertaining.

It Takes Two... But In Travis' Case, It Take One

This movie is absolute garbage. You will hate Travis unlike any character you've ever hated. He basically treats Jonni like a whore and receives a wedding and a car that he doesn't deserve in the slightest. I hated this guy and it ruined what could have been a fun and interesting adventure involving the lambo from hell. Give this one a skip.
