Strength, Power, Respect

In some alternative world, all the adults die. A town is divided into two with poor punk-rock girls living on one side in a friendly anarchistic society. The west side is run by the rich kids, the Titans. It is a "Lord of the Flies" type dictatorship plus they have the bad club from the "Karate Kid." Eventually, they clash.

I liked the East Side characters while those on the West were incomplete stereotypes. The ending was predictable. Scratch (Paloma Kwiatkowski) likes to make graffiti which consists mostly of her two-word vocabulary of "F-Off." Teens might like it.

Guide: F-word, No sex or nudity.

Idea - worth it (?)

I do feel there is a good movie here - hidden somewhere. The question is was the script already flawed to a degree that it couldn't be helped or did that come later, while making the movie? Whatever the case, the cliches are big in this one. Many things get mentioned and than quite forgotten.

Character behave so badly, it'll be hard to really keep any connection to them. It's a small budget movie, but there could have been more. At least that's what I feel and I'm sure I am not alone with that feeling. Probably not worth your time, unless you like the actors or the general theme and overlook the myriad of flaws
