The largest black community in the country started as a safe haven for escaped slaves but for the past century has faced economic struggle, limited government resources, violence, and constant systemic racism that continues to this day. Artist "Just Chase" paints a picture of his life in crime and the events that made him leave the street life to follow his musical dreams while illustrating how the town of 4,000 struggles to change the narrative.

Redundant, lame and phoney
Watching this documentary is like watching an episode of the Trailer Park Boys except nothing is funny or compelling. This has to be the most scripted documentary pretending to be real. It's as if the filmmakers needed a job so they pretended to be interested in the subject matter just to get the government of Canada to give them tax money to fund this lame documentary. Most of the reviews here are probably from the filmmakers themselves or their family because this was the most boring, lame and cringe documentary I ever saw. Avoid. Watch King of Kong instead.

Interesting and thought provoking
Saw this at a festival in Toronto a few weeks ago and still thinking about it. An all black community in the middle of the woods that has been around for so long yet nobody knows about. I feel for the people of the community and all they've endured. Hope Just Chase makes it !
