What is wrong with you people? this is like a hugh grant movie without hugh grant. did you seriously expect anything else when you decided to watch something called 'Love Wedding Repeat'?? it does exactly what it sets out to do.

If it's not already clear, it's extremely hard to make a great romantic comedy in 2020. It's very rare all the pieces come together for the next When Harry Met Sally or Notting Hill. Most of the time, it's just another film that ends up on your Netflix queue for late-night viewing without a second thought. Love Wedding Repeat unfortunately had a great premise and well-rounded characters before making a few second act plot choices that nearly ruined the experience for me. I would not have made the choice to remove the main protagonist from the story in that he becomes too drugged out to comprehend what's happening. At least, if you're going to do that, make it be for a few minutes, maximum? And much the same as a ton of other films on Netflix, this one ends up being forgettable.

Love Wedding Repeat is pretty terrible romantic comedy film that fails at delivering laughs. The acting is dull. The script and direction of a concept idea the films narrative discusses about the probability of chances and choices characters make is dumb. It plays like a rom com wedding version of Groundhog Day movie. The first half shows Sam Claflins character trying to make sure his sister has a happy wedding day with everyone on their table also having conflict within each other over trying to find a date. Or a tv career or having relationship issues. Meanwhile, his sister mistake of a one night stand in the past brings the guy crashing the wedding cause he feels like they have a real connection. The plot could have been so much more fun. But the script lacks with delivering humor but leaving you feel cringey with the characters dumb mistakes and choices. It was unfunny. The story is cliche and boring. The acting was horrible with the cast ensemble. This is one wedding you may find forgettable and you want to miss this film.
